A Flexible Way to Get Help and Stay at Home

Getting better from addiction or hard times does not always mean moving into a clinic. Our Intensive Outpatient Program in Arcadia lets you go home each day while you learn, heal, and grow. You keep your normal life, going to work, school, or caring for your family, while getting the support you need.

What Is an IOP?

  • IOP stands for Intensive Outpatient Program, a plan of care for people who need more help than once‑a‑week counseling, but who do not need round‑the‑clock care.

  • You come in for a few hours, several days each week.

  • You live at home, sleep in your own bed, and keep up with daily life.

Who Can Join?

Our IOP in Arcadia is right for:

  • Adults or teens facing drug or alcohol problems

  • People who feel very sad, worried, or stressed

  • Folks who want more support after or instead of a hospital stay

  • Anyone who wants to learn new skills while staying with family and friends

How It Works

Meet and Plan

  • We talk with you to learn your story, your needs, and your goals

  • Then we make a simple plan just for you

Group Sessions

  • You join a small group

  • You listen, share, and practice new ways to feel calm and safe

One‑on‑One Talks

  • You meet with a caring counselor alone

  • You learn how to handle hard feelings and tricky situations

Family Time (If You Want)

  • Sometimes families come together to learn and heal

  • We practice talking kindly and solving problems as a team

Skills and Classes

  • You learn life tools, like how to say no to drugs, how to stay calm, and how to plan your day

  • You practice these skills in real life, with our help

Keep Going After IOP

  • When you finish, we help you plan next steps

  • You may join a local support group or keep meeting with a counselor now and then
